Who is Chanel Lumiere?
Hard working and compassionate!
Born and raised in Belize City Belize. Chanel Lumiere migrated to Los Angeles California at the age of 12 to reside with her mom and dad.
Chanel has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Child and Adolescent Development and has worked in the Early Education Field serving Children and families for over 18 years. Chanel currently serves as a educator, mentor, teacher, healer and organizer.
Chanel has served a number of organizations advocating for LGBTQIS communities. Currently serving as UWC board member and FLUX international Secretary besides her advocacy work she has performed all over California and provided makeup and styling for many individuals in Los Angeles notable 2008 makeup and styling in XXL magazine.
In 2020/2021 Chanel was featured in Frye Art Museum Bonner Banner Series in Seattle Washington by Artist Marilyn Montufar and Muse for 2022 “As we are pillars of Society” with Steve Galindo. She currently serves as the building manager for the first of its kind The Connie Norman Transgender Empowerment Center and a consultant for AHF. Her light continues to shine wherever she goes.
